Our Story

Founder and CEO Mackenzie graduated with a degree in Interior Architecture and Design and quickly began her career managing a small interior design business, helping clients create intentional and meaningful spaces. As her work evolved, so did her vision. Her passion shifted from just designing interiors to wanting to learn the process and development of the home itself.

That vision became the foundation of Avanta Development & Design — to create a better, more thoughtful experience for people navigating the world of home development. Mackenzie’s guiding goal was to establish a company committed to a design philosophy that every space should be approached with its intention, function, and practicality. In addition to designing, developg a space for a collabrative experience for developers and home owners is also important, offering transparency, trust, and a genuine sense of partnership every step of the way.

We’re continually growing and learning every step of the way, but our vision is strong and leading the path to how home development should be is our mission. With our design background, dedication to people, and a deep passion for meaningful spaces, we’re building toward a future where more people can live in homes they truly love — and we’re honored to be part of that journey.
